Happy September, everyone! It’s been a year since I launched the SLOAH blog and I’m delighted to still be here, with you, at my happy place. Blogging is a great joy to me, even when times are tough. It’s a social connection and an expression of creativity. Moreover, it’s simply super fun and a burst of positive energy. I highly recommend blogging as a hobby, even if you don’t want to consider it as a career.
So, what have I blogged since September 2016? I’ve covered teaching resources, day-in-the-life of structured homeschooling, field trips and days out, arts and crafts, parenting, personal thoughts, rebranding, literature, reviews, interviews, education articles, crochet, special events, holidays and festivals, and much more.

Looking toward the next 12 months of blogging, I hope to continue covering education topics and product reviews that are of relevance to parents and educators. I will continue building my side-interests in resource authoring and crochet design. Analysis of my most popular posts and resources will be undertaken, to help me focus on the issues and teaching materials in which my readers are most interested; I write for you, with your passions in mind – do drop me a line if there’s something you’d like me to feature! So far, I’m seeing a trend toward literature, information technology, online resources, and kindergarten materials.
The past 12 months have been full of ups and downs, old and new friends, challenges and discoveries! I can’t wait to share the next 12 months with you. Whether you’re headed back to school, year-round homeschooling, working parents, lone parents, stay at home parents, teachers, coaches, home educators, tutors, or other interested parties, I wish you a successful Michaelmas term and a peaceful September month. Thank you for your support; I appreciate it so very much! <3

Thank you, Jax! 🙂 I’m delighted to say that the 100 Ways post is very popular, on a recurring basis. It shows that there truly is a lot of interest in home education – and, hopefully, that a lot of people are aware there are many different education choices available. 🙂
